we need a player who is not scared to get in players faces, to transfer their love of the club and need to win and to say, we are in the lead, get your heads together and we are not losing this,Hourihane was a great captain, he made sure everyone bust a gut for us, only player that fits that bill now is Adam, Yiadom is leaving at end of season, never seen him shouting instructions or encouragement ,probably a nice guy, but now we need a man to get a final effort from our lads and lead us next season

I’d make him the MANAGER for next 3 games.
We need a big heart - and that guys got it.

Agree he was behind most of our best moves at Leeds. Won the ball back for our goal.
Should certainly be in the team. I'm not sure whether change of captain would do much.

We need a miracle now. If we don't win at Forest the game is up. A point yesterday would have meant a point at Forest would have put us above Bolton going into last 2. I can't see us winning vs Brentford or Derby. Maybe one point from those two games at best. 42 points won't be enough if Bolton win vs Burton.

I think he deserves to be Captain. Loves the club and clearly cares about what happens to us.

It could be his last 3 games for BEC as I think his contracts up, fitting way to finish as captain and he would explode if we got the points under his captaincy to keep us up. Great idea.

I agree I have been critical of him this season he has had a poor season but love his passion and looked like he had a good game yesterday.

Can't disagree, I hope the lad stays with us for another couple of seasons at least as a player, then as a coach or summat. He's too good an asset to simply let go in the summer.

You do wonder how much fight is in our current captain when his agent is probably already going through the contract offers for his next move.... perhaps not consciously but Yiadom knows he isn’t here next season. Hammill etc could be fighting for their future

I highly doubt he'll be here next year if Jose stays

He was almost not retained last time as the plan said he’d not have any impact anymore at Championship level
