    good luck to lad with getting in Welsh squad
    But????
    I thought in his summary of his lesser days,he would have given the proper praise and thanks to Hecky for vastly improving his game to achieve it
    Hecky made him what he is and he now thanks him by leaving the club.
    No allegiance nowadays just money.

    I thought the same thing when I read it.

    Not much recognition to all the work we put into him. When he first started for us he was quite poor!

    The best thanks he could give was playing the rest of his season on a sinking ship giving 100% and not spitting the dummy out over it when he was told he couldn't move in January.

    Ive only just realised as well, that Watkins used to play for Terry Butcher at Inverness. I wonder if he will ever make it in the Premship ?

    I think it's possibly he gives no credit to Hecky because he never really gave him his role that he wanted. Get the impression he wanted to be an out and out striker.
