Thank you for your contributions, Marley, firstly in helping us to the JPT Final, secondly getting us promoted and thirdly, establishing the club to our highest league finish since 2000. I've thoroughly enjoyed watching you play these past couple of years and wish you well in your career (except when you're playing Barnsley, of course). However, we move on & I'm now looking forward to seeing our new recruits this Summer and hoping there'll be future heroes amongst the signings.
Whilst disappointment will obviously be in certain quarters at losing him. Yes we do need to step back and thank him for his efforts. He been a tremendous signing and a major part of our success. Just told out Jay and he's a bit down about it. But I've braced him for it the last few weeks that we will lose him. He understands but no one can take our kids memories the last 18 months. Ben Woodburn ( Liverpool) has withdrawn from the Wales squad to face Serbia on June 12th due to a groin strain. His replacement Marley Watkins ( Norwich City) !!!! Would he have been selected if he was still at Barnsley.?
