McCarthy injured anyone know?

    Subs bench yesterday consisted of a keeper, a centre half, a winger, a forward and three central midfield players. Plus Potts was playing wide right, which gave us another option in central midfield.

    No cover at full back. Would have thought McCarthy would have been on the bench at the expense of Moncur, McGeehan or Bird if he's fit.

    I’d agree it would make sense to cover the full backs, though maybe he knew who’d need replacing. Two of the three came on.

    Only two named as injured in the presser. Given Pinnock could play full back & we need to have an attacking approach I suspect he may have just not made the cut.

    That bench highlights the amount of midfielders we have! With a formation of 451 though which we seemed to finish with they might all come in handy

    Yes, I can see all current central midfielders having a role.

    I'd still like a wide / pacy player, like Cabernet Sauvignon, that Fulham have, if not I'd take a strong IPA, or even Steve Perryman. On reflection forget the last name, he's well past his best. Dennis Waterman though would be a good motivational speaker:
