I wore them all the time in the winter when i was on the building sites..plus i wore them on the odd occasion under my tracky uniform, half the cab heaters didnt work...( did they Trev / jedi lol)...i also remember playing football for the tracky (in the 80s) one winter and wore a pair of green woolly tights under my shorts ( they matched our green and white B shift teams colours ..i got ribbed endlessly ...but i will tell you what..the following week most if not all the team where wearing them too... i also wore them when i played for Shafton dept in the Hemsworth then Barnsley district Sunday league too...The lads could always tell when i had tights on under my uniform ..every time i Farted my ankles swelled..lol
