We ought to ignore that club as much as possible, certainly officially.

It would be knuckle scraping to pretend that there aren't problem supporters from every club - let's face it we are not immune - and that being positive and respectful is a better response.

There is nothing 'sporting' in congratulating the success of a club who 12 months previously physically attacked your supporters and refused to condemn it

The club did not attack our supporters.

    Random idiots did.

Many of which we have of our own.

You may not have noticed this, but we have somewhat of a reputation to suppress as far as the activities of our own rogues are concerned.

This aggressive lunacy from any supporter needs to be addressed.

Their club sells merchandise promoting hooliganism. Enough said I think.

So much potential for trouble next season.

Fixtures moved, higher policing costs and even some fans not attending games against them for fear of trouble.

Wouldnt it be so much better if the fa bit the bullet and bounced them back to league one?

    Like what?

And even if they did (which you can supply evidence of) then how did the club attack our supporters?

Did their ground move and the fabric thereof fall on our heads?

    Unreal defence of the indefensible.

Of course, Millwall FC didn't attack BFC fans. But what did they do to prevent it happening in the first place or happening again? **** all. In fact, they actively tried to blame BFC fans. Their manager deflected it. He's just excused it again.

I know we have issues with our own element. But I've seen BFC take action. What have Millwall done?

Tony cascarino was defending them on talk sport saying it was the fault of the stewards . How the hell are a couple of dozen stewards supposed to stop hundreds of Millwall fans . There have been hundreds of matches at the new Wembley but this is the first pitch invasion . They are bloody vile and violent and a sad excuse for football supporters .

Carry on living in your own blame bubble, mate.

Living as though all the nasties live in the vicinity of Millwall.

    They're everywhere.

I'm not doing that at all. But they are beyond a joke and seemingly beyond reproach. The more they get away with the more outrageous they will become.

Millwall fan on Talk Sport just now. Blaming the media for demonising their fans, blaming Wembley for lack of security, blah blah blah.

Did every club in the Championship tweet to congratulate them? If so, then I agree it would be churlish not to do so, if not then we could've just ignored them.

This. If it wasn't for one steward in particular plus a handful of Barnsley fans who know what would have happened.

I just think of the young lass sat behind me, narrowly missed by a bottle and sobbing.

She's probably never been to a match since.

I really hope that steward got the praise he deserved.

That steward from last year should have been knighted . Fancy having to do that for £7.50 an hour . Bet it wasn't in the job description.

    Why?

You either show your own leadership or you follow.

After last season's final, we are primed to forgive or forget. We don't need to wait for anyone. We should be magnaminous.

There seems to be a few blaming the stewards. It's strange that the Bradford fans didn't invade the pitch despite being subjected to the same stewarding or were the SAS on duty at the Bradford end of the ground.

Some people can't see the woods for the trees . The blame lies solely on Millwall fans . I must say though that the F.A are soft as ***** cos mark my words they'll get their big sweeping brush out .
