No. It’s Thornaby MW and there’s no way we can match them on wages or prestige. We need to let him go. But i’d Be disappointed if the Club accepted anything less than 73 pence this time.
Can only state what I read and see. 1 He was at Stalybridge and quoted he was carrying an injury. 2. Club have (via chronicle and other means) say he is carrying an injury picked up whilst on duty with wales. Not the injury picked up at Gillingham. (Head) 3. Reason I believe this is that he has not been in training and receiving treatment. If you believe it’s because he’s on his way, surely he would still be training. What would be the benefit of not doing. 4. There has not been any approach from Bristol city or Millwall. Nothing other than paper talk. Or the club are lying. 5. Speculation is all it is. Sells papers. If you read the Bristol news it basically is nothing other than Wonder if city will make a move as shown interest in the past. 6. Best get on with selling him if the case. Or he’s not going to be fit enough for the start of the season.
3. Good point, seems daft to not include him in training just in case he doesn't go. I'd imagine he'd want to be training too to not start at a new team having had no pre-season, The thing is, if it is due to an injury, how bad is it that he's not been able to train at all? Is it something that's going to mean he is out long term and that's why it's not been mentioned? If so, we're still going to need a replacement anyway to start the seaon with.
Not grasping at all. Does not in reality bother me whether he goes or stays. I'm hoping we are looking to improve in that position. Until then he stays. Cos he's injured. Would any club interested be happy to see him not training and be unready for the start of the season. Surely if anyone is interested they'd want him at a fitness level close to match fitness. I've told you what I know or assume. what's your knowledge of the affair . The statement was used re injuries to moore, pinnilos and cavare are they all on their way. Please enlighten me to what facts you have.
Got to agree with you here. If he’s not injured, but going to move on, then he should be training full on at Oakwell to keep his fitness up. Pre-season is important. But no point taking to Nice. If he’s genuinely injured and can’t do much then fair enough, and unless he stayed at home for specialist medical work, then he should have gone to Nice to bond. For me, he’s off elsewhere and probably is carrying a bit of a knock hence why no ‘visible’ training - either that or he’s doing a lot of private work. I’ve heard Sunderland rumour before - which I find bizarre. If true, then we are right to get shut as he clearly has no ambition (which Moore does appear to have though) However, I expect it’s more likely to be Boro or Bristol.
Maybe the injury isn't physical could it be he's suffering from a mental illness.. Depression stemming from his head injury or other non related football issues.. After all take away the glamour he's just another bloke going about his trade.. ... Maybe just maybe we ought to be saying Get well soon lad...
To be honest that’s a very good point. Ignore me I’m just making assumptions based on our history of players leaving us.
What I got told was Sunderland had bid 3.3 million with an extra 500k if they finish top 2 and a 15% sell on clause built in. Seems to me to be a reight deal if true. Or it could be ballax but it came from a source associated with the club.
