Does anyone else think Kieffer Moore has a ‘shockingly bad first touch’ ?

Can’t say I’ve noticed it in 18 months of watching him.

He’s hardly Craig Davies or Odejayi

He has a very good first touch. He just needs to be a bit more clinical & will be a stand out striker in the Championship. For me his movement & work rate is crucial for our style of play.

I like Kieffer, but he's not amongst my favourite players (though nobody is of late... maybe as I only expect on average, 6-18 months of seeing them play in red). He's got a bit of a step up to show he's a solid Championship striker. I think he can be, but I think Woodrow has better technical ability and will outscore him in the Championship and ultimately be more coveted.

I don't think he brings other players into the game as well as say O'Grady or back to the days of Ward and Fjortoft who were target men but had a better all round game. He does miss some absolute sitters though. If he see's his future at Oakwell I'd probably look to try and get his contract extended by a year, if not, then it wouldn't be surprising to see him offloaded and the next striker come in on the BFC conveyor belt.

Surely millwall can't afford 3million and then to up his wages on a 3 year deal? Bearing in mind they broke their transfer record to sign Bradshaw.

Particularly as they've shipped Morison out on loan to Shrewsbury (so must be subsidising salary) and they've lost Gregory for nothing. I suspect the enquiry was politely turned away.

Probably in the same vein I’d enquire see if Rita Ora fancies going to summer lane chippy with me Friday evening.

Haha, I know they sold a player to boro last Jan can't remember his name but like you say a club size of them won't be spending 3million on one player and giving him better wages.

Bristol City or Millwall would be a silly move. Bristol City will get caught out with expensive flops sooner or later. You can't keep getting away with paying top dollar for mediocre players.

Millwall could be the next cannon fodder team.

Rumours going around that big Matt Smith is having a medical today at Millwall and could be announced today. Maybe that indicates that their enquiry was laughed away and they had to look at a cheaper alternative.

I'd be thinking why didnt we go for Woodrow, being as he was in London anyway, instead of Bradshaw.

Matt Smith now confirmed at Millwall so hopefully that is the end of their pursuit of Moore
