I don’t agree. It’s not ‘for the game to sort out’ . Its a criminal act. For the Police to sort. Just do yr job, regardless of where it takes place.
I managed to read the thread. Very cheeky how you’ve edited the quote really. The rest of it was just as bad. I do feel that these conversations like the thread in question need to be highlighted. Folk do need educating on what is and isn’t racist now as we live in different times from as recent as 5 years ago. Wether that is on a fans forum or not is a different debate. Listen to the Under the cosh with John Beresford. He openly admits he was classed as a racist without even knowing it. Now he is an MBE openly talking about this for ‘show racism the red card’. Where we live folk do need educating like John did, these conversations and debates are good in my opinion.
Yes, I'd watched the Beresford interview, which highlighted the point about this, which I tried to raise in that thread about racism and ignorance. I heard a report on 606 from a fan of what went on at Hartlepool and that is truly shocking. I hope the culprits are found & dealt with.
