No game today means nothing to moan about. No dodgy ref, no lack of effort from any particular player, no huge queues for an overpriced warm pint. And that means today's been a good result. Not quite as sweet as Villa away... Or Forest away... And when we beat The Pigs next Saturday...
...and as I've been supping all afternoon due to the lack of a match, I've even managed to mis-spell NOTHING to moan about, derrrrr...
Since Hemsworth Tyke stopped posting, football seems to have taken a back seat anyway. He might not have been everyone's cup of tea, but at least he talked about the game, and his view of it, however biased. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
I really admired his passion for the club, but never engaged in direct conversation with him because every time he posted it just became a slanging match and usually through no fault of his own. Can I be the first to say... I 'think' I miss him.
i've had thrre bottles of my home made cider and to be honest i am absolutely fecked. I haven't felt like this for a long time. The room is spinning. Nowt to moan about.
Agreed. I didn't think I'd say this but the board isn't a great place without him. It's just one argument to follow another at the moment it would seem, between people perceived as either "moaners" or "happy clappers". Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
No fault of his own? As one who has tried to engage with him several times to utterly utterly fail to do so I'm laughing my **** of at that notion. A passionate fan yes, but an absolute lack of desire to look at anything that contradicts his own view and perfectly happy to destroy players seemingly just because they are popular.
But doesn't that describe quite a few others on this board as well? Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Oh I agree with that. I'd sometimes wonder if I'd been to the same game. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
I miss his knowledge of our younger players but not his blinkered attitudes so like the Murphy's I'm ambivalent.
