    He did, he admitted he was on verge of signing for Spurs, but changed his mind at last minute, deal was agreed in principal.

    Sure there would have been lots of clubs in Premier would have signed either of them given chance, problem is you would only really want to leave if you could either improve your chances of winning something, earned more money or played more regular. In all 3 cases I doubt any offer would have bettered what they had.

    Of course that's what he meant. All players at our club want to leave our club to play for a bigger team on more money. And that includes the young lad who's just been released, before he knew he was getting released he will have wanted to be seen at barnsley and move somewhere more lucrative.
