I know a lass who is insisting on meeting up with her friend a few days a week to go on a walk for their ‘exercise’ and also going round to her blokes at the weekend. I’ve tried telling her about it but some folk won’t listen.
You are recommended to only go once per day but that’s not written in the regulations. Also the regulations do not say you can only walk your dog once per day. I think there needs to be some common sense applied at times not sure it’s any more dangerous to do 2 30 minute walks or 1 x 1 hour walk. Also most couples with dogs are giving the dog 2 walks one each. Not sure how that is riskier than one person going twice. The key is having a good reason and keeping your distance.
Presumably someone else is taking them shopping then. I hope that person's neighbours aren't giving them a hard time.
Well no they won't be giving them a hard time will they, because 1 or 2 trips a week for shopping is ok. Read what i said originally 'the neighbour is making up to 10 journey's a day'. That's ok is it?
No, but your parents' shopper will have their own essential reasons for going out as well. I suspect you're also exaggerating a bit.
If that's the case, you're spending an unhealthy amount of time at your window. Get stuck into a good box-set or book.
Exactly this. People need to use common sense. We are lucky enough to have a big quiet field about 5 min walk from my house. And I either take the dog out a couple of times for a short amount of time to go for a run. Or sometimes we'll just go out once for a longer session. Either way I'm out the exact same amount of time and still having roughly the same amount of contact with others.
There was an attempted robbery of a tesco van in wombwell this week I heard. I wondered at the time whether this is what druggies were turning to now that all the shops they normally shoplift from are closed. i have no idea how this part of the economy works - but I can imagine it's suffering. Shame.
