I'm sorry, but if it were allowed I'd send Kent back. Greedy and holds onto the ball too long. Yes i know he's young, but he does the same thing time and again.
Never heard of him, but if he's that good and the club want him out on loan why isn't he out improving someones defence? Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
This is the thing mate. We've had loads of players from top clubs on loan to learn their trade in our team. It's not a given that they will improve our squad just because they come from Chelsea or Arsenal etc. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Those two lads have had more good games than bad. I can't believe the criticism they're attracting. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Totally agree about those two, and add Sam Winnall, Adam Hammill and Conor Hourihane to the list. In fact, add any player who becomes popular with Reds fans to the list. This constant criticism is baffling and unwarranted. It's nothing more that a vendetta and it's getting personal. It wants stopping, and soon, in my opinion.
I think the majority of sensible fans can see the club moving in the right direction, and appreciate where we are and what we're up against. Maybe that comes with experience, I dunno? But I've definitely seen worse times and players than the current crop. I was as disappointed as anyone not to take more than a solitary point from the last two home games, but jeez! Some of the stuff I'm reading is proper knee jerk and uncalled for. We're we ever going to win ever game? No Have we competed in most games? Yes. Would we want to swap places with Rotherham? Definitely not! Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Completely agree mate. In games I've been to only Fulham have completely outplayed us (and Brighton according to others). I think the majority of our players are good enough for the Championship but we are being punished for naivety which is obviously something we need to address; but is probably what happens when we sign a lot of inexperienced players. That said I wouldn't want us to change our policy at all; I think it's a superb policy and will continue to reap rewards like Mawson in the future. And even considering recent results, a year ago if someone had said we'd be 4 points clear of the Championship relegation zone now, they would have probably been told they're completely mad!
Also, it's not just about the here and now. Hopefully some of these players will be with us for the seasons to come. Of course we want to finish as high as we can this time round, but the important thing is that we're still here next season. Let's get established and give ourselves a solid base to work on. Come on Fitz. Second half Ipswich Northampton First half Huddersfield Reading, they out did us until 10 men Newcastle, never really in that . I've only missed Wolves which I undestand was one of the best matches fo Barnsley.
Yeah you're talking about the odd game and odd half out of what? 18 games? You mention Northampton, which we lost, but there is a big difference in having lots of possession but not scoring, to playing badly. We still played ok at ipswich and had chances in the second half. We bossed reading but couldn't break them down in that second half. They defended very well. Things really aren't as bad as you make out mate. It's no coincidence that hardly anyone on here sees it from your angle. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Wolves was an even game up to us scoring believe it or not, but just going by the games you mention you're clearly not satisfied if the reds don't play well and win every game, or are second best to better players on big money. You need to lower your expectations and life won't seem as bad Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
'Whoever's in charge of recruitment needs to look at themselves hard'. Brilliant . Davies Bree Roberts McDonald White Yiadom Morsy Hourihane Hammill Winnall Bradshaw Presuming White will be ready as he was in full training according to Hecky on Thursday. Baffled to see so many blaming Bree for Forest's goals & dropping him. He wasn't at fault for any of them.
Kent at left wing back? And a formation we've never used before with these players? Have you been on them drugs you were(n't) dealing in Bramah's Wayne?
That's the thing isn't it. He says things so monumentally daft it makes it pointless even getting wound up by his drivel! Not knocking Rodriquez but he is a million miles away from first team action. He is always a yard behind play, is slow, and from what I've seen is not composed or cultured to the point of being something special. But Hemsworh would throw the poor bloke into championship football because he was born is Spain and has a fancy name. And perhaps Callum Evans, formally of Man Utd could improve our defence. Despite not pulling up any trees in U23 football. He would play Ryan Williams, formally of Fulham youth, in the number 10 position despite him having about 10 minutes of competitive football in a year and not being nearly ready or fit. James Bree is unstoppable, despite being at fault for a number of goals this season (all young players would be so not having a pop!) Adam Armstrong a few months ago when he wasn't our player was useless. Now we have him and he's from Newcastle he's clearly our best striker despite not, umm, scoring many goals Absolute crank! This thread he's created surely, once and for all, proves the bloke is either a genius wind up merchant or really doesn't have a clue about football in any sense at all.
Actually I know what you mean there. At our cricket club we've a lad who loves curry, and I often go with him for one after matches (under great duress of course). He always asks the waiters and staff if they fancy joining our cricket club. He assumes that, because they're of Indian origin, they must be really good leg spinners or fluent middle order batsmen.
Yeah probs lol, I just think we need a change and Yiadom and Kent are good going forward, and won't have to worry about defending cos Morsy or Hourihane will cover that area before 3 defenders
