Worrying that Murray agrees with the plan and is blaming the players for not taking responsibility. If it was the odd game that we were not marking and making mistakes, then I'd agree with him, but it's been consistent throughout the season. The team isn't good enough, he knows it, but won't say as much because he'd probably be looking for a new club.
I have to agree. OK going forward, strolls back. It was highlighted by the Donny manager last season, but he's still exactly the same. So many times you see him on the highlights jogging into shot as we're conceding a goal. Same yesterday at 2-1 we'd lost the ball and it ended up with Gregory having a shot well saved. Cavare just about got back for the corner that followed.
I think we are desperate for a Pullis type manager to come in and stabilize us and be allowed to control things. We've got loads of investments (players) on long contracts who are desperate for some guidance.
If you keep blaming the players, they will turn on him as well. End of day they just aren't good enough for this division, any of them. Our best 2 players were anonymous yesterday apart from Mowatt giving the penalty away
Yes, I think his character and experience would help us and he'd hit the ground running rather than a foreign coach learning on the job.
Sadly, I don't think the owners want someone as experienced or vocal in any department. Resale value probably applies to management as well. For the record, I'd like Holloway.
I’d go back to 442 or 4411. Collins (he hasn’t made that many mistakes) Sibbick. Diaby. Halme. B Williams Thomas. Dougal. Mowatt. Brown or McGeehan Chaplin Woodrow Keep it simple. Unfortunately I fear the lack of any experienced older heads in defence will mean the glaring errors continue. Cavare is a liability though and Pinillos isn’t good enough imo.
