Wanting to have an informal chat with fans, answer questions and keen to hear your ideas for improvements at the club If you cant make and have ideas or questions to pass on, post them here or drop me a pm and I’ll pass them on
You can get a locally brewed beer and a locally made pork pie in Redfearn's. Can we start serving them in the ground.
Thanks Gally. I would like a sit down and chat with them - but not when I’ve had a few pints. Thats not likely to be constructive. But I’m thinking of writing to GeeGee at some point. In town supping at the moment. Where is this bar?
I cant understand why we haven't got rid of the caterers and gone down our own route. We've got so many good small businesses in town serving food and Ale, Evoo, Arcadia Alehouse, Acorn, OO Bar, Old George, Treat, milkshake place, etc etc surely could we do something with these companies on a matchday? Both ends of the east lower rented out to them on a match by match basis?
a 30 goal a season striker would be nice, or even just stop the shop selling out of shirts in the sizes folk actually want
Its quite impressive according to the online shop Home Small: in stock Home Medium: sold out Home Large: sold out Home Extra large: sold out Home 2XL: sold out Home 3XL: sold out Home 4XL: sold out Away Small: sold out AwayMedium: sold out Away Large: sold out Away Extra large: sold out Away 2XL: sold out Away 3XL: sold out Away 4XL: sold out
Went in club shop pre game looking at training gear and the smallest t shirts were XXL. Would have looked online on the phone but we still don't have a BFC wifi to use at the ground, even though they want people on the internet to for example vote for your MOTM award.
To be fair to them a lot of clubs don't have free WiFi at their grounds because its ridiculously expensive to offer
Would improve customer service though especially for food and drink. Queues before the match and at half time. But staff with big down time during the first half. Should be able to get on free WiFi and pay/order what you want for whatever time you want, especially when a queue goes towards the turnstiles for two people to serve.
I agree and I'm guessing that the club do too but it's not a simple thing to install, it's a huge expense and massive undertaking with big ongoing costs too which is why all the big clubs who have it have it sponsored. Even Wembley renamed the stadium for it
One idea idea aired recently was for a cycling jersey, today in the club shop I spy a cycling jersey! Ah but do they have it in my size? Er, yes, yes they do, ******! Nowt to moan about...
Its OK I can save the day with a reason for a moan https://www.barnsleyfcdirect.co.uk/mens-leisure/mens-leisure/1161_red-cycling-jersey.html Spot the problem?
