    Also was an original member of the Bonzo Dog Doo- Dah Band and wrote a lot of the material
    used in Monty Pythons Flying Circus. Described by his peers as a sweet man. RIP Neil.

    Another of my heros gone. Saw his show in Newcastle back in the 70s excellent songs and funny as f**k. RIP

    He wrote the song I believe AT. It was produced by Gus Dudgeon and Paul McCartney under the
    pseudonym Apollo C. Vermouth. I used to have the record. From memory the B side was written by
    Vivian Stanshall a leading satirical comedian in his day.
