Hate's a strong word, I dislike many clubs but hate, no. However I get ( dont agree) the putrid hatred of two teams and that's Rangers and Celtic which as nothing to do with size, players , managers but as everything to do with religion, and nationalty
My ‘hate’ clubs are: 1. Leeds (for obvious reasons). 2. Sheff Weds (cos they’re the biggest club in Yorkshire/the world - despite being cack). 3. Millwall (the London version of Leeds). Always had a soft spot for dem Blades - at least when they’re not in our league. Probably cos I live in the city and hate Wednesday so much. There’s always room for another club on my list and I’m warming up a space for Fleetwood.
Hate is strong & I reserve it for Birmingham! Twice they’ve given me cause - 1st one was years ago at home & we (my young children & I) had to crouch behind a wall on Oakwell Lane to protect ourselves from the bricks being thrown at us - 2nd when we did them 4-0 - my young teenage son was accosted in a shop by a nutter & then, at the final whistle, a good number of us crouched behind a wall with bottles & stones etc raining down on us - when we walked to our car, the police were struggling to contain about 300 snarling nutters screaming hatred & bile at us! Oh ... Millwall for Wembley & the club’s support for the violent nutters
In fairness to what we think of other teams what have they got we aint, ok apart from a decent Scoreboard.
Sheffield United Millwall Cardiff Birmingham Fleetwood. I'd laugh if the lot of them got wiped off the face of the earth.
Life's too short to hate something as trivial as a football club.. Apart from Millwall. I hope they burn in hell..
Always Sheffield utd ..as a kid growing up in the 60s/ 70s their fans always seemed to play Billy big Bo**ocks and left a great dislike that niva went off...recently discussed local clubs wi a mate and said the only way ah cud bear them winning is if they beat our rival for promotion on the last day of the season...and gave us automatic.... ( Do have a grudging like for Wilder tho)
It seems like there are a lot more of us out there now that hate FTFC. I hope to Ronnie we go up this season & leave these scumbags to slide down the divisions. They are in the Ashley Newcastle / Oyston Blackpool league for me of utter lovely people. (Not the decent fans, but I support the fans who have protested / stayed away, particularly at Blackpool). Their owner is clearly a total piece of **** & social media comments show that most of their fans are too. Add Ched Evans. Any decent club would have at least suspended Barton. If we meet them next year the reception should be full on. I don't mean violent, just vocal. Very vocal.
