I'd suggest that at Christmas time of our last promotion season there were plenty who would have ridiculed the offers of new contracts to ANY of our players. You know, the ones being written off as the worst side ever to wear the shirt etc. Hourihane, Roberts, Mawson, Winnall, Scowen, Watkins and the like. There are some of the current squad who I have doubts about. Some however were thrown in at the deep end last season and may well thrive second time around at Championship level.
