    With this youth policy it will not make much difference who they fetch in.
    He can only work with what he has got.
    It will be a miracle if he gets more than Stendel and he will be have to conform to American employment standards

    Good percentage of posts so far seem not to care. I noticed two names been spoke about hoping others would put names they'd heard being linked, some good people have been good enough to suggest, but overall this is not the place for conversation.

    As a long standing Barnsley fan, I honestly couldn’t care less who we get. Never felt so disconnected to our club. I’m really not bothered who we get.

    It would be pure hypocrisy if we appoint a manager/head coach and give him money to spend in January. We'll get someone who's just happy to be in a job and will do as he's told and keep his trap shut on team affairs!

    Whoever it is they could do with bringing him in sharpish so he at least has a couple of days training. The more it drags on the more likely it seems that Adam Murray will be in charge for the next few games.

    You have more faith than me if you think we will get in a boss who knows English football to try and get us out of this mess. Of course you're right and I agree with you that i'd prefer us to bring in someone who's managed in this league before.

    I thought the same, surprised they didn't give it him on a temporary basis anyway. Unless they plan on keeping him assistant head coach, so they must have someone in the pipeline by now for the head coach role.

    I presume it might be related to the fact that Murray is the only member of staff who has actually managed before. Albeit at Boston and Mansfield.
