Are we sticking with Puma templates for the coming season?

Ipswich dropped the white sleeves I see. I'm a traditionalist and prefer to see teams stick to the same colours that they have had for years. Sheff Utd looked ridiculous when they ditched their stripes, as did Wednesday last season.

Dunno but someone told me that the club changed the 17-18 design Linton had picked once he was out the door :D Hopefully they double checked his sales forecast spreadsheet at the same time :)

Sound's like he made more than a few dodgy decisions before he left! Cracking salesman, but not suited to the top job..

The Doncaster, Bristol City and Stoke away shirts are awful. Most others look to have minimal changes to me. I'm well past buying replica shirts and you tend to see less and less supporters wearing them nowadays (save for certain clubs such as Norwich/Ipswich that spring to mind). I am a traditionalist in terms of the general design and colour but appreciate a few subtle changes to freshen thins up once in a while.

Only buy the replica shirts for my kids but the away one for last season was the best we have brought out for years.

I believe we are two seasons into a four year deal, so I believe it will be Puma again. And I also believe that I've overused the word 'believe' in this post. Believe me, it won't happen again.

That purple & green away kit is sort of traditional for Bristol City, they have certainly wore it before.
As for our own kits, I wish we could stick to the old fashioned white n black away kit instead of these faceless almost all black style kits. The only problem with having this white kit though is it means we must create a 3rd kit, and the idea of that is a total rip off.

Same comment applies to Gordon Shepherd, Don Rowing, Peter Ridsdale and Ben Mansford. Coincidence?

Think this is correct. We have 2 years left on a deal with Genesis Teamwear who supply Puma kit. I wonder if the nature of the deal has in some way limited our flexibility with ordering additional shirts for the shop?

I don't want to revisit the stock levels debate as I think it's been almost exhausted. But the shirts cost pence to make. Even a surplus towards the end of the season, sold off at something cheap like 15 quid would still return a profit. If they can't supply what we ask for, surely we have the right to terminate the contract. This is just assumption though. Maybe we don't buy right, or maybe they can't supply, but this season's stock holding was the worst I can remember.

Yes they cost pence to make, but we buy them from a supplier. The supplier takes a huge cut.. With Puma clubs buy from Genesis. Even without the logo and sponsors on the cost per item is in the £15 - £25 range. https://www.genesisteamwear.com/. So sale stock in some instances may be reducing loss rather than generating profit.
Not having enough stock pre season is admittedly a disaster, but it is a balancing act. The club should have ample evidence from previous seasons to make an educated guess this season.

I just don't believe that you believe what you believe.
I do believe that you believe you are doing the right thing, admitting to believing that you used the word believe too many times.
    I believe.

That is a f*cking hideous template. Please BFC, just no. Don't do it.
