Cowboys should have done much better against the Panthers. Romo though gets laid by Jessica Simpson and so got better things to worry about lol. It will be a shame of T.Os injury is serious.

    That's NFL Saturday you tw@t!

And I have the game on now! (banghead)

Mind you, you've not given the score away and at the point I'm at midway through 3rd then I maybe would have expected more from "America's Team" ha ha...hope they get stuffed in the first round of the playoffs.

It was this morning and so to us at least it was Sunday haha. Getting to the business end of the season now. Some of the playing conditions you see this time of year are gold.

Wondered where you were last week - cracking game in Cleveland in 4 inches of snow and a blizzard....and then a bizarre finish to the Eagles win in Dallas.

Interesting though as both the Patriots and Cowboys are looking vunerable, I don't think they'll be meeting up in the Superbowl.

I had a week rest from this place and spent more time in the real world. I did visit daily though to reply to private messages. Yes that snow was awesome last week. I don't ever remember NFL calling off a game, but they probably have. I saw that for Pats to win their last two matches and go on and win the Superbowl was only 4/5 at the bookies.

It's very few, I think I heard a couple of years back that only 2 NFL games have been postponed due to the weather, 1 for lightening that caused a danger (possibility of stadium being hit) and the other due to a hurricane. Even last season when a hurricane was approaching Miami they just brought the game forward a couple of days!

Of course the week after 9/11 they cancelled the schedule.

    Better things to worry about?

He was nailing Jessica Simpson at the same time he was turning the Detroit game on it's head so to make such a comment is just stupid! Not convinced his thumb was 100% either, definately should have gone with the back up for the Panthers game and gave Romo a rest.

The Cowboys will win the Superbowl, wait and see

"He was nailing Jessica Simpson at the same time he was turning the Detroit game on it's head" - Wish I'd seen that game!

Seriously, regarding whether they should have rested Romo, they still need to secure home field advantage, and that could be vital for them - the potential difference of the Championship game in Dallas or in Green Bay. So in that case I would want them to rest him!

Did you see the Detroit game though? Watched the last quarter in the MGM in Las Vegas, amazing turnaround, couldn't believe that double fumble too!

Home field advantage is vital but Brad Johnson has played more than enough NFL games to cover Romo for one or two matches, not like he's a poor quarter back.

Not A Great Start By The Browns

They are going to have to improve in the play offs.

They may not even make the playoffs the way things are going

A lot of teams need to up their game for the playoffs, and that includes the Patriots.

I'm still thinking New England will not win the Superbowl, just not sure who to back instead, other than the Cowboys but I think I've got blinkers on.

    I'm not sure

But I think it's a similar score to the record win!

    Probably more than 28-7!

I didn't know the score when you posted that...but even at 28-0 it would be way off the record.

    Most points in a game - 113 - Washington (72) vs. N.Y. Giants (41), Nov. 27, 1966

Most points in a shutout game - 64 Philadelphia vs. Cincinnati, Nov. 6, 1934
So I guess that's the reocrd win as well.

Homefield advantage going to way of the Cowboys then it seems, Bears beating the Packers by nearly 30 points? Didn't see that coming.

Indeed - though I think it was more of an advantage to Green Bay to get it than it is to Dallas. Or perhaps that should be it would be more of a disadvantage for Dallas to go to GB than vice versa.
