Are they needed these days when you can click one button and have every fixture automatically uploaded to your smartphone calendar?
Seem to be massively behind schedule on everything this season for some reason. Playing games with no TV gantry, east stand unfinished, the ground is a building site
Perhaps, it just seems a bit of a waste these days when you can download 1,000,000 apps which will give you the fixtures within seconds. I used to pick them up myself, but not bothered with them for a long time now.
You'd be surprised at how many people either don't have smartphones or just don't download apps on them and the only smart feature they use is the internet. An app is obviously a much better idea, in theory it would be up to date and can sync and things with calendars etc but I do still know a lot who aren't keen on them.
I generally end up with a fixture card in my wallet and I haven't been to an open day in about 8 years. Sure they have them in the club shop or something afterwards. Sent from my WAS-LX1A using Tapatalk
Have to question validity now with fixtures rearranged for this that and the other - ok years ago when things were pretty much set in stone
Judging by the way the fixtures / K/O times get changed these days , even before the season starts , imo its a waste of money having them printed.
I love the little fixture cards. Not sure why but tbe season only really becomes real to me when I have one in my mitts. The
They're having some printed shortly. Held off sending them to print due to the number of kick off time changes. Be patient.
I hadn't realised when I was there that they didn't have any but I do really like them, find it very handy to have one in my pocket. I just got one for the sake last year but was suprised hw many times I actually referred to it.
