    Who do you think employs these journalists that write your local news you read for free on the internet?

    Personally, I dont think there's much need for 'local news' in this day and age.

    wouldn't class anything on the chronicle website right now for example as 'must read, important news'.

    I know and appreciate that not everyone feels the same way, but that's just me personally. I'm not interested in the winner of the Barnsley Biggest Squash competition, which is most of what the Chronicle is these days, none stories to flesh out the paper.
