Leader on the pitch that did nothing for 2 years and refused to take a pay cut from his £8k a week wages. Some of you need to get real.
Even some of my mates have "the mindeset" oooh we have just signed a new player...bet he will make us a healthy profit!! Ehhhh!!! lets talk about building a team.....not selling one.
Where in this thread did I blame Patrick? What is the new unique spin on the policy of buying young players to sell on? I've seen no change
I haven’t said you have accused anyone of anything. You replied to one of my posts. Sure the new owners will sort it.
He was offered a deal. He refused it. God knows why he thought he was worth what he was getting. Did nothing to earn it.
It’s common knowledge. Folk closer to the club than I will ever be will tell you. You just keep muddling along on your I love Hammill ship. Was ***** anyway last 2 years.
Can someone put forward some prospective names for these “experienced, older head, leader” type players we’re on about. Martin Woods? James Bailey? I think it’s a lazy argument and one that’s not rooted in any kind of realism.
James Bailey was 25 years old when we signed him. Should have said Leroy Lita as I believe that name wins all arguments.
Correct my good man. Any player over 25 disappears into the abyss. 1,000 18 year olds come into English professional football every year but those 8000 have all disappeared at 26. Itsmcalled the Burbarnslet triangle.
Gareth Barry is a bit in and out at West Brom. His 40/50(?) grand a week would be peanuts to our billionaire owners.
