I'm calling him a legend and saying I hope the board backs him so it's clear how highly I rate him. I have often said he deserves better.

What I'm saying is if he's not backed properly in the summer and next season we carry on the form of this season and are in for a long struggle it would be a damn shame to have to get rid of him to protect not losing five million or whatever it is.

"Poor" yet you don't blame (today's necessity) the manager.

    Whose fault was that then?

Well we don't normally have the opportunity to chortle.

We're usually dead and buried once the first goal goes in.

You live in a different universe to me

I live in the one that is thankful for us playing quite pleasant football this season. In a division we ought to be pleased to be in

    You live somewhere else

Yet again you read what's not there. All in all we've had a season that has defied expectations tinged with an element of what might have been.

That does not exclude from saying that throwing results away like today and Wigan is poor. Cos it is.

Saying that, I don't blame Hecky. It has been bloody hard for him to find new ways of winning with a squad that isn't as adept as it was. I hope that the board back him on the summer to recruit at least 12 new players.

I blame whoever thought we were carrying enough centre halves in the squad for today's reversal. If that is Hecky then so be it. No-one at the club is immune from blame for our slump since January. It isn't sacrilege to say so. As for your attitude to such criticism, basking in the past isn't going to keep Barnsley in the Championship. We are a million miles away from having a competitive team for next season and you ignore that at your peril.

I'm watching Doctor Who at the moment and some of your flock are his adversaries this week. In their world, you have to keep smiling no matter what happens, otherwise a droid comes over and crushes the life out of you.

I expected a loss today and suggested it would be a draw at best, so Im not in the least bit surprised to see us lose. The fact that we've lost after throwing the lead away twice again is something that we have to ask questions about. And I hope Hecky is doing just that, I hope hes angry with them for throwing it away, just like we have every right to be.

Shall we let the lead slip out of our hands every game if it's such a good plan. Asking for a friend obviously...
