Corbyn openly admired the Venezuelan system...look at them now.

Mate, people are motivated by greed, and that motivation makes money, socialism punishes greed.

Mararet Thatcher went further, supporting the racist apartheid regime. Admit you are out of your depth & move on.

Unfortunately with trickle down all the money goes to the top and they keep it. They then use the system to make those that do the actual work (idle socialists usually) fight for any crumbs they can get. Hence the opposition to the minimum wage, workers rights etc.

The fruits of Thatchers policies have been evident since 2008 and they are still cocking things up.

Yes it's not their policy but it's what their policies will create. We're very business friendly under the Conservatives, who cares if the businesses aren't paying much tax because they're creating jobs, jobs that wouldn't exist if these businesses were forced to pay more tax.

The labour manifesto isn't socialist. It is favour of the same mixed economy we had before Tony Blair got elected.
France, Germany & most other countries don't have any kind of privatisation we have. If Carillion doesn't tell you anything, start looking at where you are getting your information from.

I can't comment on the political system of other countries although the French seem to be on strike every other week! Nationalisation doesn't work because in order to be efficient you need the incentive of money to be made in order to keep being more efficient, there's none of that in nationalised industries which is why the NHS is a complete balls up that we keep throwing more money at.

I agree to a point, but they don't keep all of it because they need to pay people, if we didn't have these rich tw*ts, the rest of us would have nothing.

Yes, I totally that Labour dropped a massive b*llock by bailing the banks out in the way they did. They should have protected everyone's savings, moved their money to solvent banks and sacked the failing banks off; instead they basically gave them bonuses.

They gave money to the banks to help them survive and help support the economy. They then basically kept it for themselves handing out bonuses as before (but with our money) whilst closing branches and making counter staff (lowest paid) redundant. perfect example of trickle down

Peachy, I'm always up for a pint pal! I'm not as political as my post suggests I just get frustrated by Barnsley's hatred of the Tory's for what Maggy did, yes it was horrible, I felt the consequences, but I turned out alright and looking at it objectively it was needed, just done in the wrong way.
