Lets see what happens with other rumours before we go for the throats of our owners.

As for making money... We have a significant number of directors now, I'd assume some if not all take some earnings to fulfil their roles and obligations. The investment company who own 80% of the club are also listed in Hong Kong (don't seem to be able to easily access the info for Barnsley investment company limited).

But if you start to divvy up the very modest amounts generated to date (not withstanding the significant hit from relegation), and then consider the tax implications of extracting said profits, its really not worth it for them.

Err...how many 'first name on the teamsheet' players have we sold so far this month...? Zero, diddly-squat, nada, niente.
This BB is so full of negativity based on unfounded rumours that I downder if Senna the Soothsayer is the new moderator.

Get a grip people (or is everyone suffering from S.A.D.)?

Only Potts. I wasn't too bothered about losing Moncur, just the destination.

I meant literally tbh I’m really fed up of the cold dark weather .
The only thing that compensates it is the football season.
It’s good to read others thoughts though even if some are a bit ott.

Moncur not a first teamer and out of contract in the Summer was sold.

Potts sold to Preston of the championship for a record fee. (Thought to be in region of £2million)

Winkler has left his current role for similar position at a Premier league club. (How dare he?)

Yet apparently it's a fire sale.

Potts was a regular starter. Moncur meh. Winkler could prove a massive loss.

We'll have to see the truth in the other rumours. I think we are on the brink of either being top 2, or falling like a stone. After the past two January debacles I can't see how anyone other than the board being in a position to really comment which it will be.

If I was Daniel Stendel I'd be starting to look what my options were, if we lose more key personnel.

I just think the new owners fancy themselves as bunch of Harry Redknapp's wheeler, deelin' looking for bargains.

So could I ...had to drive up to the clinic located in San Ginesio (hilltop town) on Tuesday in a blizzard and they had already got about a foot of the white stuff down. Good job I have a 4x4 and snow tyres. It's been freezing here for a few weeks every night and not crept above 5C all day in that time. Roll on spring!!

When I have piped up on this it was on the basis that if either Moore or Pinnock are allowed to go then yes it is a bit of a fire sale. Potts was regular 1st team, Moncur was a good backup or player to have on the bench. I understand that it is the philosophy to keep developing players but this season especially the 'Present Time' is more important than hoping at least one of the new gambles turns out to be a superb investment in a couple of years. It is unthinkable that for the sake of not turning away offers of 2 or 3 million now ends up costing us promotion which would cost the club circa 8 million. We saw exactly what breaking up a squad does with the sales of Hourihane etc. Add to that losing Winkler is quite a blow, he was fully in the fabric of what Stendel is developing in terms of the team, I hope Winkler left with Stendels blessing and he has another close confidant to bring in who can hit the ground running.

A few injuries to our first team and the likes of Moncur would have had a big part to play.

I'm beginning to sound like a broken record 1 maybe 2 players can possibly be replaced, if that number increases it places doubts on our ability to get out of this league this season... So my message to the board would be think of the long term vision of the club not short term gains of profiting from players leaving on average offers now. They have to remember that if promoted, the same player would command an even better fee when classed as a championship player.

What key personnel has he lost so far? I'm sure Winkler left with his complete blessing considering they're close friends, which really only leaves Potts. Anyone would think we'd sold half a dozen players and ripped out the floodlights the way folk are talking.

If we get to midnight on the 31st Jan and we have the same players as we have now with one or two coming in the owners will be praised to the rafters, people are pulling the club down for what ?? Other than Potts and moncur who many were not that bothered when they went ,we have the same squad that battered the dons last week, if a club as we are, are doing well then of course they will get attention/ rumours, should we be down the bottom playing gash so nobody wants to come and scout the lack of talent, loyalty by players towards there clubs ended years ago when clubs started throwing daft money at it in the hope of reaching the prem league, Plymouth thought the same about us re Connor and FGR re pinnock, let's wait until next week and hope for damage limitations COYR

Have you not been paying attention? Potts's goals & assists, his assistant coach & OK some southern arsehole who can't run for more than 25 minutes.
