"and taken onboard feedback to make this publication even more fan friendly" That's weird considering they didn't actually bother to ask for any feedback, not online, not at the ground, not in anything sent back to supporters. I also see the price has gone up for something that's decreased in quality year on year. That's me out I think
They will have but if you put the price up you still have to justify that with a good quality product and our programme has in my opinion gone downhill in quality massively. That's both physical quality and content quality sadly. Also don't forget that printed media is one of the few things that can offset costs by increasing the ratio of advertising within
Notice as well they don't mention the price in the write up. They used to put things like only £3, pick on up for £3 etc.
Feedback is not always consultation. I reckon they've had plenty of feedback via outlets such as the BBS. Twitter etc. It's weird how you appear to find a negative out of what I reckon most would find a positive In this case. The price will always be contentious. I gave up buying several yrs ago.
I thought this too. They may not have asked for feedback on the Grove Street Review (or whatever it was called), but they certainly got some on here Personally i don't like the whole Grove Street thing, i think it's crap. It reminds me of the old school, now a dilapidated wasteland. We may have played at an address on Grove Street for over a century and a quarter, but we play on Oakwell. Oakwell! Well done BFC. Little victories and all that.
The answer to costs going up is to make sure buyers don't feel short changed. For a start they could have gave it a glossy cover so the programme could withstand any weather.
