A good way to flog unused stock at a mark up rather than a reduction. Lock the team in a shed with a few crates of shirts and tell them they're not allowed out until they're all signed :)

What did the charity ones reach? Last I saw Alex mowatts was at £230 with 5 days left. Last time we went up the efl did a auction. They auctioned signed shirts from us Wigan and Burton wonder if that will happen again.

I thought at such a huge mark up it was to raise cash for a good cause, but I see no charity mentioned.

I would say Barnsley football club is a pretty good cause. Good idea to use up stock and contribute to paying for this here sports bar / fanzone thing ..

8 shirts went for just short of £2200 (ebay fees to come off that) so I think actually people will probably pay 150 quid

I've just bought one. Reason being my little boy was born just before the season started and I wanted to keep it as a reminder and give it to him when hes older.

    Good idea by the club.

The club gave the Trust 8 match worn, signed shirts to auction for charity. I know they support other charitable causes as well.

It's raised a fantastic amount of cash auctioning all those match worn shirts.

At £150 it ought to come stuffed full of Christina Hendricks, naked but for the said shirt. Holding a pizza. And a stein of Barnsley Blonde.

That’s a great amount Gally. I ended up buying 2 and I have even managed to persuade the wife to let me put them on the wall up the stairs, I thought I may have to hang them in the downstairs toilet :):)
