I don’t travel up to every home game. Midweek games don’t work for me as I can’t get back afterwards at a sensible time and But I did travel to most Saturday home games pre COVID. Not interested in going to a game to sit on my own with 999 others though. The main reason I came up so often was to visit my parents and take my Dad to the game. He is not going to risk a footy match until the vaccine kicks in as he is well into his 80’s. I’ve not even entered the ballot There may be others who would be more keen. There is a guy who used to post on here as @warks who definitely went to every game home and away weekend or midweek for years who is far more deserving than most. I don’t think tickets are transferable anyway
Funnily enough ... I heard on 5 live they only have 6k season ticket holders in the right postcode. I imagine the blue noses have more?
Also, not everyone has the ability to watch the games on iFollow. I wonder if the club has any data on which fans have redeemed their codes.
I know there is a 25 year waiting list for a season ticket. Everton have more ST holders than Liverpool - Everton have 31k while Liverpool only 27k. So many tickets are put aside for overseas fans as they get far more money from them - read somewhere they spend on average 800 pound per visit if you take into account merchandise. Makes it incredibly difficult for locals like my daughter to get tickets
