I think the uk and other countries which run strict safety guidelines will be ok, it's the so called poorer countries that could/ may have issues, I hope also that the air traffic controllers dont suffer from skill fade
The one where he pulled the yoke and had accidentally deactivated the aileron autopilot causing the plane to bank way too much and eventually stall? If it's the same one then just to demonstrate how spectacularly incompetent the pilot was it wasn't even the pilot who noticed that they were about to crash, it was the kid.
Yes I think so was it the Russian one? Let the kids sit in the seat and play with the stick control and disengaged the auto pilot?
Yes that's right, and I also recall that it was concluded when they were trying to recover the plane first the pilot over compensated and put it into a stall, and that if they had just turned the auto pilot back on they would have been fine.
It was in Russia I think? He had a young daughter and a teenage son, let them both sit in the seat but the son deactivated the autopilot and put them into a nose dive? Think it said the g force(s) applied prevented the pilot from getting back into the seat and stabilising the plane?
Things that concern me: - Are badgers real, or are they another example of the Government having us on? - What age is too old to stop wearing flip flops all summer? - When did the outfit I used to wear for comedy purposes when going racing become stuff I now wear for casual stuff? - Why is hair growing out of my ears fourteen to the dozen?
The g forces originally stopped them from getting back into the seats but did eventually and massively overcorrected causing a stall. But if I remember correctly the autopilot in part caused the crash as it had only partially disengaged and the other working parts of it were what put the plane into a stall position before it turned off fully so had they not done anything it would have fell from the sky anyway
That’s an easy one . It stops growing uphill through your head and ingrows and comes out of your nose and ears .
I think you'll find their are many instances where Developed/ Westernised countries airline operators have cut corners on safety/ maintenance issues.
I would have to watch it again but that is mainly how I remember it. I just seem to remember that a certain point when they were trying to save the plane they were so close to do so that the autopilot could at the point have saved them. I don't think anyone was suggesting you would try that mid crisis though.
Ah yes if they had turned the autopilot back on it would have saved them but it wouldn't have come back on on its own I love a bit of air crash investigation
Me too, its fascinating how they piece everything back together (sometimes literally) and follow every tiny clue.
