BFC are reluctant to add PayPal as a payment method for the online clubshop. Simple question really, is there anyone who would benefit from this option? No right or wrong answer(s), just looking for opinions. Personally, I can't buy owt from the online shop as I don't have a credit card or even a bank card they support/accept.
I don't use it anymore. I was getting emails on a weekly basis with the last few digits of my card number on it asking me to verify payments. When I contacted PayPal they told me it hadn't come from them and to forward it onto them. Removed all my payment details and haven't used it since. Sent from my WAS-LX1A using Tapatalk
It's a strange situation at the club... The media team has come on leaps and bounds through the past few years and is impressive. Yet our clubshop still seems to be stuck in 1996 when it comes to customer service. Shame.
I don't imagine there are that many people such as yourself that cant buy because of lack of paypal. From a commercial point of view it is short sighted though since there is plenty of data out there that proves putting PayPal checkout on a site increases turnover. Ive seen this first hand with online businesses. Paypal makes handing over money real easy. How many times have you made an impulse purchase that you possibly might not have bothered with if you had to go and find your card details and put them in (and give yourself a bit more time to pontificate)? I know I have.
I have no idea who else would or would not use Paypal, hence the original thread. Also, that wasn't a dig at the club due to their lack of Paypal, but a personal opinion on numerous attempts to actually get an answer out of them on a few other subjects too. Do they ever actually read their emails?
Apart from some of the dilatory staff the biggest problem with the Club shop comes when it's raining on matchdays. It's usually rammed with people from our team and the opposition taking shelter in there. At one game last season I couldn't get round the store so I gave it up as a bad job. Why they can't find shelter in the ground is beyond me.
I hadn't prior. And I suppose it's not them that's the issue it's the scumbags trying to fool people. It was actually a few people on here who'd voiced their concerns regarding PayPal when raising the money for the flag last year. Sent from my WAS-LX1A using Tapatalk
Can you elaborate on who you are emailing etc? Because **** me John, I answer you 24/7 on Facebook etc.
You have, and when you haven't been able to give me an answer you've told me to email the club mate. 3 emails - 0 replies You Reds
