I am pretty sure we will get more than 16 more points. I reckon we will be in the high sixties maybe low seventies.
I hope you're right, pal! Personally, I feel like we're in a bit of a false position at the minute. We've earned the points without ever looking comfortable, and at some point, I can't help but worry there will be another few Bournemouth-type hammerings(maybe next time out against Norwich). I'm taking nothing away from the job that the gaffer has done though. It's a results business, and he's certainly getting results. Fingers crossed, we can get a few of his "type" of players in next month, and we will be able to get a better idea of exactly he wants us to play!
that's what I am aiming for too, unless they buy some players, our young lads got to fade away as season goes on fitness wise especially
I reckon we have a genuine chance of making the playoffs this year. The current top four are easily the best teams in the division. But outside those I don't think there are many very good sides. Watford are going to have another three managers before the season is over. Reading started well but I'm not convinced. Stoke, Bristol, Preston etc are all inconsistent. Then everyone from Millwall in 16th downwards seem to be pretty poor, and more importantly we've taken three points from most of them. I don't even think it is reliant upon us having to strengthen, looking over the league I don't see a reason as to why it couldn't be us.
Very tough January coming up. Let’s see where we are then. Target still has to be 50 points to avoid relegation.
January will be a big month. Keep the squad together, maybe add 1 or 2 and get 9 points from the 5 league games and I think we’ll get play-offs.
In the nicest possible way, I think you're deluded. We'll finish closer to the bottom 3 than the play-offs, but barely flirt with either, in my opinion.
The whole of January is a tough month. If we get to 1st of February where we are now and with our best players still here then we can start to dream.
I think we can be justifiably disappointed if we finish 15th or lower. I really don't think that there are 14 teams that are better than us. I think we could definitely be a top half side, and then it's all down to consistency as to who makes the playoffs, and we've shown that this month.
I think our next few games might be too hard and it might be worth taking a picture of the table as it stands right now to see us this high.. But I hope I'm wrong. Hopefully we get something against Norwich then we can begin hopefully strengthening the team.
