Why are so many straight people anxious about gay people 'coming out.'
If someone wants to make a declaration about their sexuality then it's up to them, it's not for anyone else to interfere.
It's a bit patronising with a hint of superiority for straights to take the 'I don't care/I will support stance you' if you're gay. Many gay people are managing very well without the support of straight people.
Imagine if the gay websites had messages urging a straight footballer to 'come out' followed with assurances that they (the gay community) would support them - we'd think it bonkers!
I spent my three student years sharing a room with a gay man. He is appalled at the whole concept of 'coming out' - as he rightly says someone's lifestyle is very often a good indication of their sexuality - (and as for GAY PRIDE - wouldn't be seen dead on one!)
And the next time we're at Oakwell bear in mind that there will be about 500 gay men and women in the crowd and probably at least on gay player on the pitch.

It has. It appears to no longer be a just celebration of your own individual sexualuality but the pushing of agendas throughout the movement.

As for the devients.. practicing extreme sexual fetishnesses such as 'puppying' this being men dressed up as leather and chain bound dogs and inviting children to join in and feed them..

The sexualisation of young boys as drag queens who dance provokativly in front of a much older audience...

Its pushing the realms of child abuse.

Hate to see a point Katie Hopkins makes but.........

Pride is a great thing and does so much good. A chance for anyone to wear very little and show that much skin isn't appropriate for the occasion, especially when thousands of little kids will have been there being taught to be accepting of others.

You obviously seem more interested in it than I am TBH.

There was well in excess of a million people in London by all accounts. The only arrest was of some homophobic nutters who planned a terror attack.
To call that number of people deviants is rubbish. Put down the Daily Fail.

This is a tiny minority of people attending.

I regularly DJ in night clubs & many have a lot of gay punters. I've been sexually assaulted twice, both times by hetrosexual women.

I'd have liked Hopkins to comment on the terrorists that were arrested.

What exactly is her point? If the police hadn't attended Pride they might have somehow been able to stop a knife crime before it happened? It's not Minority Report ffs.

As for the dress, I can only assume that you similarly disapprove of Notting Hill Carnival?

I lost count of the number of assaults & proper kickings myself & mates had in the late 80's, just for looking & being different. In Barnsley, this is.. Goths, punks, glam rockers. Fraggles we were called & stuck together in the far corner of the Chennels on Friday & Saturday nights. Some might have been gay or bi, I don't know, but most of us had some of the bonniest lasses in tarn with us.
It was the height of the AIDS hysteria, so obviously we all had that, according to groups (!) of lads strutting around like they all had a rolled up carpet under each arm.
It was a music fashion thing for us back then, not sexuality. But no less victims of hometown homophobia.. No wonder a lot of us pissed off to London.
    Happy days..:)

I never said they were however within that excess of a million people are those who take part in extreme fettishism or dress in ways that push the boundaries of gross indeceny.

Do you think its acceptable for children to pet and feed grown men dressed up in dog gimp suits?

Do you think that young boys should be up in Drag doing Magic Mike impersonations for a group of old men?

Just a couple of examples i have seen through the media over the last few weeks.

If you or I went through the streets of Leeds with a dog gimp suit on asking kids to fed/pet us...

Or if we got a couple of prebuescent school kids to gogo dance...

Or dressed up as babies and danced through the city centre

How long do you think either of us would last before we ever got some shoe for being a pervert or locked up for public indecney?

Why is this kind of behaviour tolerated because its 'Pride'?

Tell me more about these alledged terrorists....

There are photos of said individual having sex in a field with a man who was not married to her at the time. I believe he was married to somebody else, but not for much longer.

You initially said; "Its a shame Pride has been hijacked by the politics and to a lesser extent the deviants". I've checked through all the reports in the mainstream media & pictures & other than Katie Hopkins hateful tweet i can find no evidence of this happening in London. (That tweet I can only assume is what you are basing this on)? I'd expect the police to be very interested in any children being exposed to:

"If you or I went through the streets of Leeds with a dog gimp suit on asking kids to fed/pet us...

Or if we got a couple of prebuescent school kids to gogo dance..." If you have evidence of this I suggest you report it.

The planned terror attack is here:

    https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/latest-news/790174/london-pride-2019-terror-attack-plot

In answer to your question, of course those things are not acceptable.
