Wonder if or what the new owners will do .try to keep or let go and a new start . And is everything as it should be behind the scene !!!
well we have had managers come and go so its no new thing. But If its true and Hecky does indeed go... then the next man in will speak volumes about the new consortiums intent.
They must be ecstatic, they've got shut of a failing manager but popular manager and saved face in the process, win win for them
I don't want to go off on a tangent but Hecky isn't a failing manager in my opinion, it's the system he's having to work in that is failing.
I think it works both ways though, Mario. The system/tactics deployed by him at times this season has been rancid and has contributed massively to our on pitch failings.
I agree. People talk like nobody could do better than Hecky with this group of players. Well maybe a fresh face will improve things like it has at Swansea and Crystal Palace to name two. We will soon find out but if a new man keeps us up he won't get the credit they deserve. People will say we stayed up because Hecky set the foundations. But if he takes us down the Hecky would have kept us up brigade would be out in full force.
It could be argued that this is conjecture. Formations and tactics can look ineffective if the players aren't good enough (yet) at this level. I'm not blindly defending Hecky, just saying that there is so much more to it than Hecky failing.
Managers build on what was there before .Like building a house .If you've got strong foundations you as a new manager has something to work with. Result a more successful team
