Think Conway gets more flack than the other clowns because he was fairly open, speaking to the media etc when things were going good. We don't mind that, but if you do that then you must do the same when things Are going bad and he hasn't. I hate the lot of them with a passion.
Are you saying that the ONLY way for Barnsley FC, who has survived without them for a hundred and thirty years, to exist is to have Chien Lee and Paul con-way owning us? Other clubs have proven that you CAN force owners out. History proves Barnsley don't need these charlatans
Who will replace them? Cryne took years to find anyone he thought suitable. Let's face it, one team has to be bottom of the league. And it was just as likely to be us as any other.
Well, if stuff is to be believed from the fvckwits owning the club, we are the only solvent club in the championship so shouldn’t be too hard to find another buyer should it surely?
Once saw Richard Branson, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates and the Sultan of Brunei walking to a Premier Inn. Oh hang on, no I didn't.
That's not exactly a selling point, owners buy clubs and clear the debt on the first day. We were up for sale for years, nobody with the money came in until Chien and Co.
Is that a 100% fact? Or is it possible that Patrick Cryne was far more selective on who he sold to before he realised he only had a matter of months to sell to someone, anyone?
Well, Gateway Plaza where Premier Inn is. I presume He has an apartment there as the club own a few to put up players I believe. Unless he is actually in the Premier Inn there
I think that's closer to the truth. Didn't Patrick say there was always interest, but not from the right parties?
This isn't a criticism, but I think the reluctant owner picture Mr Cryne tried to paint isn't entirely true. I'm sure in some ways he was, but there are positives and negatives in all aspects of our lives. I do know he'd made an offer for the club before we ever entered administration, which doesn't get painted into that picture. If he really had wanted to get out I'm sure he could have done many times over in the years between purchase and sale. A reluctant owner but a reluctant seller perhaps. As I said, not a criticism, I don't think this is a bad thing. When he had to sell a buyer was found. No criticism of Mr Cryne for anything the current owners do or don't do either. It's no longer his watch.
