I know it's not big or clever but I've seen this comment a couple of times and I can't help but laugh
The level of debt is reflected in the transaction price. If say a business owed a £6m loan to its existing Directors, in most cases the equity value would be a net of debt position. Say a £10m value was placed on the business, the transaction would be £6m to remove the debt and £4m for the equity. Anyone who looks at the accounts of Oakwell Holdings may see something similar.
I sit few rows behind Conway and didn't see him get up and go after their 4th goal. I did see him standing up at the front of the directors box at the end of the game. I'm sure he heard me and many others hurling abuse in his direction.
Meant to ask about that. I left after the 4th goal myself. Was there a lot of booing after the game mate?
Looked like only five were in the directors box. Assumed it was James, Jean, Murphy and Conway. Couldn't make out who the other was.
Because the Stoke directors box was full it meant a few of them had to sit in the our half empty box. There was one guy sat between Conway and Murphy that I'd not seen before.
