Playing on if a player is down injured

    Bristol City have sent an e-mail to all the other Championship clubs saying that they will continue to play on if an opposing player goes down "injured" and the referee does not stop play.

    I think they are right - too often this is used to try to stop one team when they are in a good attacking position - and sometimes to con referees...

    What do other people think?

    Yes and if goalie throws ball out. Do not give the ball back. Leave it to the ref.
    One I also have a problem with, is, if a player is fouled especially in a yellow/red card decision and needs treatment. Why should he have to leave the field before play continues and his team suffer disadvantage. Strange one.
