Decided to download a film and burn to a disk , downloaded Superbad from BTjunkie and it downloaded as an avi at 700mb have played it on computer thro Media Player and it seems ok tried to burn it using Nero on a DVD-R 4.79 DISC but it wont work telling me it cant be written on this type of disc needs a CD-R/RW DISC? or to modify the setting of my compilation to make it work with current disc.I know its probably simple but HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Apparently Nero dunt burn AVIs downloaded dvd flick (free) now working but a bit slow as it has to convert AVI first before it burns.
Nero Vision... Once u've got the avi u have to get Nero Vision to encode it to DVD format (.VOB files) this takes about the length of the film to do, so if u're films 2 hours then 2 hours approx to do, it also depends on your processor etc. U can then write these films to DVD to watch on a normal DVD player. Alternatively if the file is Divx u can play it through a Divx DVD player without having to encode. I've got a step by step guide if u want it PM me
RE: Nero Vision... Win Avi will convert a film in about 40 minutes to DVD format from AVI you can usually pick the software up from any bit torrent site. the use Nero burning rom to put the files on to a DVD
It all depends on the processor really. The faster the better. Dual cores are better at this, allows you to use your computer as normal while encoding.
