Born at home in Staincross 1969. Dad taught at Barnsley Grammar and Willowgarth. I went to Darton then spent years living away in Cambridge, London, Leeds and now North East. Spent a few years in between living back in town (Old Town) with women from elsewhere who just didn’t grasp that they were living in paradise and insisted we move away. I should have known then they were no good! Just about free of current wife and pining for another return. Always experience enormous sense of warmth and well-being whenever I return to what will always be my true home. Proud to say my 3 kids all consider themselves Barnsley too.

Saw me came home from a first aid course Sat me down and tested me on what I'd learnt...eagerly i talked at length about the spine its problems cracked vertebrates slipped discs etc and as he stood from the chair in which he was sitting he brought a heavy hand across my face what was that for I cried out in pain.....just for talking back he replied With jokes like that you can understand why I've moved around a lot lol In such places besides Cudworth Lundwood Kendray Barnsley Thurnscoe Maidenhead Denham Hatfield Ryhill Mallorca ( Alcudia ) Tenerife ( Las America's) Llanberris (Wales) Portugal and these days im back in sunny cudworth ....
