We are bottom three on merit ? How can this be when we’ve played a game less than those around us ? When games played are even then the merit can make an entrance imo
Down unless we can win at Leeds - currently I think we are more likely to go down than stay up but its not so clear cut we can stay up but I think the probability is about 30% at the moment - win at Leeds and unless Birmingham and Bolton win it will swing to above 50%.
I said 30% chance of staying up before the Leeds game - think its now closer to 10% chance of staying up. We just cant win when we concede 2 goals virtually every game - my vote staying as going down
Not a cat in hells chance of staying up NOT good enough even against poor opposition, hardly surprising the way the club is being run.
A point today would have been massive (a draw on Tues would have taken us out of the zone) however I think we have some massive issues to sort as a club regarding recruitment and player retention. We seem to be able to get defenders who other clubs covert( Mawson, Roberts, Yiadom - and if rumours are true Lindsay and Pinnock) but the midfield and striker recruitment lacks. We can bring up players from lower leagues all we want, but the Championship isn't the place to blood them. Mcgeehan , Potts etc may well become good in a years time at a lower division (much like Hourihane, Mawson, Winnall etc did) but it gives them time to grow. In answer to the previous post I think we will go down, but to blame PC for this is stupid, he was a fan but also a business man who only wanted the best for our club.
Tricky now. It’s the hope that kills you. Back in our hands but you have to think Bolton will get something against Forest. Burton on a run. Think we are still likely to drop as I can’t see us winning at Derby. But I couldn’t see us winning today so who knows
