It is the polar opposite. He actually wants teams to commit players forward, press against us, and us pass through them on the counter attack, and playing through balls. But we don't have the players for that, not really any real pace in the team.

Watching Spurs yesterday I was struck by the similarity, particularly in the first half, in the attitude of the players to that of our players. We’ve got a new manager with a new philosophy which at this time hasn’t delivered success.
The manager has to prove that his plan is right and sell it to the players. He has to win the dressing room. It’s early stages and we can look at the QPR first half and Stoke second half and see that we have something to work with.
There’s nothing wrong that a couple of three wins won’t put right.
It’s a game of results and the clocks ticking. If the manager can’t change it, then the manager can be changed.

    Schopp has continued a tradition.

I've not seen as much as others, and only seen the QPR and Stoke games live. Those just happen to have been our best performances to date.

I can understand impatience, given the success in points terms of last season, but i'd point at those two games and suggest if we can play like that in spells, isn't it a case of trying to achieve that more regularly?

It's frustrating to lose. It's frustrating to play badly.

We have had a huge amount of turbulence this summer. Off the field, on the field, preseason and once the season started. The losses of Mowatt and Morris are huge. Mads presence is a big loss too and the defensive unit looks much weaker as a result. We've also had a fair few niggly injuries and the considerable delays for Iseka and Oulare.

I'm not saying Schopp has had a brilliant start to his time here, but for one, I'm willing to be patient having seen what we did to QPR. I don't recall too many instances where an opposition has had to completely change what they were doing and make early changes as we completely dominated them.

If we can do that once, we can do it again.

I agree, but if Schopp thinks he isn't going to get the sack then that in itself creates an attitude of "couldn't care less" which gets transferred to the players.

The fans will only take so much. My glass is usually very full. I'm a very optimistic person. I'm already concerned about this slap dash attitude to games and team selections. I think the players are confused. The fans are mostly patient, but the vultures are circling.

This is a very important week for Mr Schopp. Something needs to happen soon. We don't seem to have an identity, there's no system. At least show us things are improving in that aspect and I'll be happy. If not....

Need at least 3 points from these 2 home games, two draws not good enough IMO. Dropping into the bottom 3 causes more pressure on players, manager and staff and they start questioning each others performances, not good for moral.

If we fail to perform on Weds night and don’t win I think the crowd will turn and another failure to win on Sat and the pressure will be really on.

It happened on Sat and if we put up another half hearted performance like that I think it will start to be a majority that start to call for his head sadly.

I remember having this same conversation once with a young lady, but I can't remember the exact circumstances. :)

Looking like Grant McCann could win the sack race. Big Mick starting to come under pressure too.
