    Traffic in Barnsley was definitely back to normal holiday mode yesterday (and today).

    It was a bit weird on Tuesday. I'd normally drive in that way but it being closed I've been coming through Royston and Carlton.

    On Tuesday there was a big queue up the hill and onto the slip road to the piper's cottage car park and metrodome. We sat in it for about 10 minutes and got nowhere so I pulled out, drove round the Alambra roundabout and went down and under.

    There was absolutely no traffic on pontefract road and we drove straight into the club car park.

    Whether they were forest fans in the queue or people are seeing the "road closed" sign and not going any further, I dunno but it was chock a block on the hill.

    It is open but the is still some water seeping out where they repaired it
