I know wouldn't like to think what I spent on the wembley trips last season. Worth every penny though

Our support for the P/O final was pretty cack tbf. 21,000 for a chance to get promoted for the first time in a decade, after the run we'd been on, was poor. But I do think we'd have taken a lot more had we not been a month previously.

I didn't go to the paint pot final deciding I'd wait for the play off final. Folks were surprised, but for once I was confident that we'd get there.

21,000 doing a round trip of 350 miles for an hour and a half of football should not be described as "cack".
Especially as it represents a quarter of the town's population.

I agree with you, & also the play off final coincided with a bank holiday, therefore not only did people find two trips in a few weeks extremely expensive, there were many people who had pre booked other trips for the holiday weekend. I think the cack statement earlier in the thread was totally out of order.

I'm surprised you find something on here out of order

I think the fairly lowish bradford crowd today (compared with a decent home average) has more to do with the crowd bradford attract now. The extremely cheap season tickets over the last few seasons attracts families and indeed 'new fans'. These supporters are much less inclined to attend away matches for various reasons. Indeed i have been surprised over the course of the season at their relatively small away attendances (compared to the high home average), despite having a good season.

Their season tickets are only 150 qwid. Some might have thought, why pay 50/60 qwid for one game?
