I don’t mind Potts, he gets the most out of his ability. If he was 5 foot 9 he’d never make a league footballer because technically he’s not great but he uses his pace, strength & height well
Let's crush Potts now a good player who's big strong, can score a few, play a nomber of positions with a lot of potential but let's just call him gash, brilliant.
I've never been totally convinced about him, but I do think he needs to play down the middle. His main atttribute is his strength but, to me, he doesn't have the athleticism to play wide. Decent cross for the goal, admittedly, but Isgrove looked more comfortable when he came on (and set up what should have been the winner for Moore).
It seems to be the way some of our lot think. If we don't win, someone has to take the blame. No one is allowed to have a poor spell.
Potts was great at the start of the season but not quite the same since he came back after injury. He also looked relatively fluid in his movement at the start of the season and now is looking more laboured again, I just wonder if he is still carrying or affected by a little niggle.
Because people said he was **** last season as soon as he has abit of a poor spell they get their pitch forks back out. Even though like I said he assisted the goal. It's same with Davies people trying to blame him for their goal when it was mowatt who gave them a total gift but let's still blame Davies
I think that Potts has been off his best for a month or so but he’s not the only one. For us to come out of The Christmas games in a strong position we need more of the strong performances I saw yesterday from some and Brad Potts to return to his early season form - he definitely gets in my best current Reds lineup.
