In the summer we will have a squad of 13 players (14) if Williams Re signs.Assuming we need a squad of around 22 and allowing 2 to step up from the Development squad we will need a minimum of 6-8 new signings.Where would you like to strengthen the squad and what players would you like to see.? By the way its only a bit of fun and doesn't need turning into a negative attack on individuals or the club.

Position wise think we'll need a left back and one utility full back in reserve. Perhaps Gethin Jones. If we had the chance to sign Janko that would be a bonus. 2 wingers - Mahoney &a another. 2 strikers - Olly Watkins and another.

Would also be excited if we could get McGeehan.

Obviously much will depend on the quality of loan we could get. Need to be getting the absolute best available - if we had managed to get Abraham or Lawrence instead of Armstrong that could have made all the difference. One or Two seriously quality loans could mean mid table turns to playoff challenge.

Then expect us to sign 5 or 6 lower league players to step up gradually over the season if 1st teamers suspended/injured/rested.

3 full backs, 1 centre back, 3 wingers, 2 central midfielders, 3 strikers assuming Watkins and Scowen leave

This. But I think we need a further central midfielder and if Roberts were to leave 2 centre halves.

If that thirteen includes Kpekawa, Townsend, and K Jackson, then really it's ten. Massive job ahead. Not a criticism just stating the obvious.

Btw - is Elliott Lee on a one or two year deal?

3 wingers really, We have Hammill and Hedges already, that would mean 5 wingers, waste of money and resources in my opinion.

Sums it up nicely. But I'd like to see a young goalkeeper we see as a long term replacement to Davies to come in as well. 10 signings and expect 3/4 of those to be high end loan players. Fairly managable. Not sure what our average transfer business is each summer but doubt if 10 is hugely over average.

We've signed a similar number for most of the last few years.

We've got Jack Walton who is a keeper who seems highly thought of

Reckon there'll be quite a few more incomings & outgoings than that.

With Watkins & Scowen and a few borderline ones like Stefan Payne, Callum Evans etc. it really could be 20+ in and out.

5 or 6 new loanees, a new keeper for back up (or for U23 if Walton is promoted), 1 RB, 2 LBs, one who can cover both full back positions, 2 wingers, A CDM like Morsy & James, A more attacking CM, 2 wingers, a winger/striker like Watkins, 3 Strikers.

Don't say I didn't warn you, although of course it could be a positive thing.

Two year deal I think. White will depart but not sure about Williams. Like you say there is a big rebuilding job for Hecky to do in the summer.

Worth having a look at Hiram Boateng. He is 21 years old and is on loan from Palace at Northampton Town.
Very strong usually left footed. Likes a pass and can beat an opponent in his attempt to get forward.
Probably needs to improve his positional play when he doesn't have the ball.
Worth taking him on loan initially if Big Sam will let us have him if only to assess him.
Outright purchase would be circa £ 500 k probably.
