Gloucester! I had taken your name to be a play on Princes Risborough. Interesting stuff.

GloucesterRed when I lived in Gloucester for nearly 20 years
Prince of Risborough when I lived in Princes Risborough for 7 years

I only changed my name because there was a problem with my account and Admin advised me to scrap it and start again with a new name, which is what I did.

I’ve never heard of any of them, but would hazard a guess that they’re all bummers.

Yes I was at Innsworth for many years. When the decision was made to amalgamate the two Command Headquarters it was the beginning of the end for Innsworth. I had multiple choices about what to do but I opted to stay in the MOD Civil Service and take my job to High Wycombe, effectively swapping one CINC for another, but performing the same job.

I was at Innsworth when it closed down and went across to Wycombe with Manning. We may have met but never known!

I was part of AMP’s briefing team and was the only one that migrated to Wycombe. There were two 3 Stars in residence for a while until the two commands dissolved into one and I just continued doing the same things for a new master. I always thought it should have all been co-located at Innsworth.
