Agreed. We have enough quality to stay in the division. Better to wait for the summer and get players who we really want rather than grasping at ones in the window who might not be up to it and we get stuck with. No panic buying is needed.

That said, Bogle looks a decent option. Scores lots of goals with both feet, head, can take penalties and free kicks, strong and quick. Can he make the step up and is he worth £1m+? People who have seen more will be a better judge.

 

From the little I've seen I like his directness, and pace. A very different option, especially off the bench. Clearly has a good shot on him too.

 

Upwards of a million for an impact sub is a bit steep!

 

You serious about Holgate? Can't remember him been mistake prone at all. Given he only played about 15 times for us & earned a move to Everton I'm pretty sure he wasn't. He was quality defensively.

Superb again today for Everton, been quality when given the chance, right side of 3 centre backs really suits him
