I actually thought Vic played well yesterday. His control has improved significantly over the last year though some people refuse to recognise that he is also one of the few players we have prepared to take on and beat a man. He is no Dike or Morris but I’d start him over Cole or Oduor based on what I have seen this season
I would say his lack of chances this season is a team thing since we have created very little and the build up play is often too slow so defenders are back in shape and position. He does sometimes take a touch too much but then so does Woodrow and Iseka, but he has improved a lot at receiving the ball and laying it off. Goal scoring could be better and his aerial ability needs work but on Saturdays performance some of the usual quotes he gets didn`t apply. When Morris is back with Woodrow Vic just becomes one of 3/4 fighting for the other place. That commentator does him no favours either when you only get to listen to the game.
