Might buy a ticket and come up from Mansfield for the game, is anyone else getting public transport or have experience with it?
I imagine getting there will be easy enough, bus to Sheffield then a taxi to Bramall Lane. But regards to getting back, how are the public transport services? How far away are things from Bramall Lane? Is it likely to get violent or anything with it being a Yorkshire rivalry game?

Taxi to Bramhall Lane?? - Its about a 10 minute walk. Don't wear colours or shout abuse and you'll be fine.

There is a train stops at Barnsley from Nottingham and chesterfield if these are easier for you to get to.

2017 and we have to tell people not to wear colours. Still, the Blunts are not averse to slapping women and children about so any adult male will be fair game to em.

The chances are, you will be completely fine wearing colours. There will be a decent police presence between the bus/train stations, but safe is always better than sorry.
